Fragile Heart

Filed under: Uncategorized — shinoku @ 11:00 am

A fragile heart was broken before
I don’t think it could endure another pain
But there’s a voice from deep inside of you
That’s calling out to make you realize

That this new bond gives inspiration
To all who feel no love appeal no more
So how can I break this wall around you
That’s aiding both our hearts to grow in pain

So forget your past, and we can dream tomorrow
Save our hearts for card and lovin too
It’s hard I know, but oh
One thing for sure
Don’t go and break this fragile heart

A hurting mind in need of emotion
I don’t think I could endure another pain
But baby in you, I’ve found affection
Affection I have never felt before

So don’t let your past destroy what comes tomorrow
Don’t go and break my fragile heart

With all this fire that burns between us
There’s so much to lose
Yet so much more to gain
And if I could, choose the world around me
The world I’d choose would all revolve around you
So help me complete the game inside me
And help to mend my fragile heart

The Wedding

Filed under: Uncategorized — shinoku @ 9:06 am

O marriage-bells, your clamor tells
Two weddings in one breath.
SHE marries whom her love compels:
– And I wed Goodman Death!
My brain is blank, my tears are red;
Listen, O God: — “I will,” he said: –
And I would that I were dead.
Come groomsman Grief and bridesmaid Pain
Come and stand with a ghastly twain.
My Bridegroom Death is come o’er the meres
To wed a bride with bloody tears.
Ring, ring, O bells, full merrily:
Life-bells to her, death-bells to me:
O Death, I am true wife to thee!

Milk n Toast n Honey

Filed under: Uncategorized — shinoku @ 3:47 pm

Milk and toast and honey make it sunny on a rainy Saturday, he-he-hey
Milk and toast, some coffee take the stuffiness out of days you hate, you really hate
Slow morning news pass me by
I try not to analyze but didn’t he blow my mind this time
Didn’t he blow my mind?

(Here he comes)
To bring a little lovin’, honey
To take away the hurt inside
Is everything that matters to me
Is everything I want in life

Milk and toast and honey
Ain’t it funny how things sometimes look so clear and feel so near
The dreams I dream, my favourite wishful thinkin’
Oh, he’s bookmarked everywhere, everywhere
True love might fall from the sky
You never know what to find but didn’t he blow my mind this time
Didn’t he blow my mind?

(Here he comes)
To bring a little lovin’, honey
To take away the pain inside
Is everything that matters to me
Is everything I want from life

Oh lay a little lovin’, honey
To feel you’re gettin’ close to me
Is everything that matters to me
Is everywhere I wanna be
